  2. Great post! Wonderful images of Beksinski's work. Usually his images loose their sense of depth in reproduction. Here you can really see his process and adds a sense of gravity and loving execution to his work.

  3. Thank you for this! Very surprised by the details, about how translucent and glossy the work is. Hope to see more.

  5. Thank you so much for these detail shots, and for this blog, which has much more Beksinski than I have ever seen. He is my favourite artist and I have always wanted to see the details in his works, but as an American, I doubt I will make it to the museum where his works are kept. The way he layers bones in some of his paintings - it blows me away. His death was so tragic. He made such beautiful things, and I wish I could thank him for it.

  6. Been coming to your blog for years, never posted anything but just have to say,I love it. Most through work on Beksinski on the net.

I hope you do more of these close ups in the future. If you do take tons of pictures please, preferably on a very detailed painting, of course if you can.

Thanks again for all the work you have done on your blog. I'm a huge Beksinski fan.

  8. Hi
Thank you very much for posting these pictures. There are some pictures on your blog which I've never seen before. I recently bought a Beksinski oil on fibreboard. Perhaps you would like to see it or even post it on this board? If yes, just contact me!
    Many thanks!
